Key Reasons to Join CONNECT Golf Network

The concept at CONNECT Golf Network is to bring together people in business that want to build business
 relationships whilst playing golf.
Tired of networking groups that pressure you to hand over leads? Groups where you meet a lot of good people, but all that really happens is people talk and there is little or no action on a business level.
The goal is to build connections that will engage with businesses. CONNECT Golf members to have a great time on the golf course, members who embrace the concept of building serious business relationships and helping each other develop and grow their business.
Meeting Format
The format of each monthly golf meeting is as follows. We start with breakfast, lunch or dinner (times may vary) during which members will have an opportunity to network and meet new members and guests. Each member or guest will present a short bio of their business to the group in a relaxed informal manor.
This is be followed by 18 holes of golf and prize giving. Networking is encouraged after golf.
The Golf
The aim is to play in Stableford Texas scramble competitions. We will have monthly competition team events for network interaction. Four player teams to compete in the scramble and players will be drawn at random to create scramble teams. There will be three individual events, one at each course. They will have individual winners and an overall event winner for all three events.
Play Quality Golf Courses
Connect Golf Network is an independent body and works in partnership with Pin High Golf Events. We have engaged with Newmachar Golf Club with two 18 hole golf courses, and Newburgh Golf Club 18 hole course. We also have availability to play at other excellent golf courses that work in partnership with Connect Golf Network. Our aim is to bring together like-minded people in business who want to build relationships, discuss & engage in business, share contacts and potentially do business together in the new corporate office. 18 holes of golf!
 Away Event fees
The cost of each away golf event will vary for each venue. The event fee will usually include breakfast or lunch, a green fee, prizes, and use of the facilities. Members will receive heavily discounted rates, whilst non-members will pay a slightly higher Guest Rate. Every effort will be made to find the best deal in order to keep the golf event fees down to a minimum.
Competition Format
Each golf networking event will be played in different formats over 18 holes using your own handicap. Monthly Texas Scrambles for fun networking engagement. Events will include a nearest the pin. Events will be held at Newmachar GC - Hawkshill or Swailend Course and Newburgh Golf course.
Away outing events will also be tabled in if possible, with an annual outing at an alternative venue.
Prizes
Prizes will be given for each overall event winner or winners and nearest the pin competitions. Members and non-members are eligible to win nearest the pin competitions.
